La belette rose began in 2009 with a focus on illustration, especially on objects at that time. We expanded into custom portraits,

then invitations, wedding and birth stationery, and paper (or not !) products. All of those illustrated by myself, handrawn,

often watercolored, on demand or personalized.

Passionnate about drawing since my early age, I learned averything painting, watercolor, and graphics from my grandfather,

great doctor but also sublime watercolourist .

Curious and jack of all trades, I was a university professor , a publicist , a journalist, a designer. I lived in Rome, London and Paris.

But often one returns to his first love and here I am, back with a pencil in the hand.

My main inspiration for the littlePortraits is everyday little joys. It became therefore evident I would draw people loving each other!

Parents and their children, lovers and newly weds… Those obvious proofs of shared love, all together evanescent and magical,

I like to imagine them as bubbly and nostalgic, genuine but slightly punkish. And it is how I draw them.

Therefore, in my little house in Bordeaux,  I draw, write, make, knit and when I have some time left, I madly kiss the Beautiful Geek and VioletteCacahuète (but I make sure I always keep enough time for this ever so important activity).

Interior decoration, objects, textile and graphic design in general, web or print.
I am currently available for freelance work and would love to hear from you!

Here is my BOOK, check it up!

For the record,

la belette rose is the sweet nickname my mother would give me while cuddling. It tastes like kisses and smell like Esthée Lauder White Linen !
